KERO KERO BONITO : Live at The Regent

Kero Kero Bonito makes super high energy music, but it wasn’t a given that the band would give a great show. As it’s too often the case with electronica acts, the power of their composition doesn’t quite translate to the stage. That’s why I was somewhat apprehensive going to a KKB show for the first time, having been a longtime fan of insanely catchy songs like Trampoline and Flamingo.

Of course, I was completely blown away by the raw force of the band onstage. It was an amazing experience, and the crowd was jumping and singing along through the night with a contagious energy that swept me away.

I still took the time for a couple pictures. I’m happy with how they turned out, but I must say it was one of those “You had to be there…” type deal, so make sure to catch them the next time they’re in town.
