Hi! My name is Mathias. I DJ as Bad Tofu.

Through the years, I’ve written many tracks, produced for other artists, and I’ve been a DJ. My career isn’t the most streamlined, but it’s been an exciting journey that has brought me to perform everywhere, from Europe to LA. Most important of all, it has made it possible for me to meet thousands of incredible humans I’m lucky to call friends today.

Under different aliases, I’ve collaborated with many artists, from Choses Sauvages to Queen Key. I’ve also DJ’d in venues big and small, from underground spots to larger events like the Osheaga terrace, the FME, and even the closing night of the Festival d’Été de Québec. Once, I’ve even played in a club in a public bathroom in Berlin… I wish I was making this up!

Other career highlights include mentions in Les Inrockuptibles, Huffington Post and Rolling Stone Magazine, as well as having a song chart on commercial radio.

At the moment, you can catch me spinning modern house and techno under the moniker Bad Tofu. I love creating content for that project (I have a humble 3k followers on Instagram, but my acocunt is growing a little bit everyday.)
