MOVING TO L.A.

MOVING TO L.A.

Yes, I’ve left Montreal. It was my dream to discover other great cities ever since I can remember. The sort of thing you just know you’ll do someday.

I’m incredibly grateful for everything I’ve experienced in Montreal, the great and the horrible has shaped me into the man I am today.

Montreal is an amazing city. It’s loaded with creative, open minded people. It’s cheap to live there, so you’re free to develop as an artist. And most of all, it’s beautiful.

Sure, I’ll miss the Mile End, Griffintown and the Mount Royal, but I was due for a change. Being a French speaking blogger, I sometimes felt alienated form the rest of North America’s culture. The United States were there, just out of reach for someone with a mostly French portfolio.

So I took the plunge. I booked a plane ticket.

I hesitated for a while between New York, Los Angeles, and a couple other cities…

In the end, I chose LA for no particular reason other than my hunch that it was the place for me at this point in my life. It’s not my first time on the West Coast, but it’s the first time I’m staying here for an extended period of time.

I have no other plans than to take some pictures, write some posts, make some music, and see what kind of interesting and inspiring people I can meet.
